Highlights

At the mid and high elevations, skiers and riders have the potential to trigger pockets of new soft slabs and sluffs in steep wind loaded terrain. The depths of these slabs will increase from very shallow this morning to possibly over a foot this afternoon as snow and wind continue today. Although less likely, deeper slabs to three feet remain possible in very steep high elevation terrain. At low elevations, avalanches are not expected except for in isolated pockets and loose sluffs.
