The general avalanche hazard is LOW. West winds have drifted loose snow onto leeward aspects along the highest ridge lines. Isolated pockets of wind slab 6 to 12 inches deep lie upon weak layers of faceted snow and hard old snow surfaces. These small slabs could be triggered by humans who venture into very steep avalanche starting zones with fresh deposits of wind blown snow. Caution is advised.

On Wednesday skies will be mostly cloudy with occasional periods of light snowfall. Accumulations of about an inch are possible. Temperatures will drop into the double digits below zero overnight and rise into the single digits above and below zero during the day.
