Avalanche Summary

New snow accumulation Friday into Saturday increases your chance of triggering an avalanche. The most dangerous slopes are where you find more than about 8 inches of settled or drifted snow. Cracking in the snow surface or areas where softer snow transitions to firmer snow indicate that a slab is developing and are signs to move to lower-angle terrain.
