Avalanche Summary

Avalanches are becoming harder to trigger, and warning signs like cracking and collapsing are decreasing, but the consequences remain severe. Stick to lower-angle slopes in wind-protected areas to reduce your chances of being buried in an avalanche and give steep open slopes a wide berth.
