Highlights
A generally stable early season snow pack exists at the mid and upper elevations. On very steep North facing terrain the chance exists to trigger isolated pockets of soft slab to 18" in wind loaded areas. Low elevation slopes lack enough snow coverage for avalanches. Two days ago, a slide was triggered in the chicken scratch chutes near Teton Pass.

Periods of precipitation are expected Saturday in the form of rain in the valleys and snow in high mountains. Winds are to be West at 15-20mph. Mountain temperatures are to reach the low thirties.The General Avalanche Hazard is expected to be LOW. In very steep terrain with Northerly aspects, the chance continues to trigger isolated pockets of soft slab to 18".
