Highlights
At the mid and upper elevations soft slabs up to 3 feet in depth lie upon weak layers and a slick October crust. Yesterday afternoon the southeast face of Mt. Hunt in Grand Teton National Park released naturally and ran full track. At the mid elevations soft slabs were triggered on approach by skiers. Similar events are likely to be human triggered today. Avalanches are unlikley at the lower elevations.
