Avalanche Summary

You might be able to trigger an avalanche where elevated west and northwest winds over the weekend drifted snow into deeper or firmer slabs at upper elevations. Suspect slopes will look smooth, rounded, and have a lens-like appearance. Expect to find the deepest snow in the areas near ridgelines and cross-loaded terrain features. Cracking in the snow surface is a sign that you have found an unstable area of snow. If you observe this move to lower-angle slopes.
