Highlights

Mostly stable snow exist however low hazard does not mean there is no hazard. At the upper elevations isolated pockets of soft slab up to 18 inches in depth exist. If triggered these slabs could bury skiers or riders or sweep them over cliffs or into obstacles. At the mid and lower elevations avalanches are unlikley except in isolated pockets. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: THE JACKSON HOLE MOUNTAIN RESORT WILL BE FIRING ARTILLERY TODAY. THE TERRAIN AT THE RESORT IS CLOSED TO BACKCOUNTRY TRAVEL.
