Highlights

At the upper elevations soft slabs up to 18 inches in depth put in by southwest to west winds lie upon slick old snow surfaces. These slabs could be easily triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas. Avalanches are unlikely in areas not underlain by a hard old snow surface.
