Highlights

At the mid and upper elevations pockets of soft slab up to 12 inches in depth could be triggered today in cliff areas and on steep wind loaded slopes by skiers or snowmobilers. Deeper instabilities lurk with the potential for slides to pull out deeper snow. At elevations of 8000 feet and below the potential for wet slides will increase with warming and rainfall which rapidly weakens the snowpack.
