Highlights
Slabs of eight inches to one foot have been triggered in starting zones by skiers on steeper, wind loaded slopes and under cornice lines. HUMAN TRIGGERED AVALANCHES ARE POSSIBLE TODAY. Dangerous, deeper slabs up to 3' in depth could be triggered by humans on steeper, wind-loaded slopes. Areas of shallow, weak snow, dominated by faceted crystals, exist on southerly aspects. At the mid & lower elevations isolated pockets of soft slab up to one foot in depth could be triggered by humans on steep, wind loaded aspects and in cliff areas.
