Avalanche Summary

Triggering an avalanche is becoming less likely. You may still trigger one on steeper slopes at upper elevations where a cohesive slab of snow sits above older, weaker snow. You are more likely to impact this weak layer and trigger an avalanche near exposed rocks and on steep convex rolls where the snowpack is more shallow.

For safer riding options, stick to slopes less than 35 degrees in steepness.
