Highlights
The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE today. Due to recent warm temperatures and settlement, the snowpack has become more stable, however a weak layer of buried surface hoar and faceted snow persists at a depth of one to three feet below the snow surface. Riders or skiers could trigger slabs on this layer in hard to predict weak areas on steep slopes.
