Avalanche Summary

Ongoing warm weather with little to no overnight freezes will keep the snowpack wet and unstable on many slopes. Wet slabs may break loose as buried weak layers become saturated. Even wet avalanches that start small can gouge deep and entrain enough snow to be harmful in steeper terrain. Plan to end your day early and avoid traveling on steep slopes once your feet or machine start sinking deep into wet snow.
