Avalanche Summary

Snow on Monday and strong winds on Tuesday will keep the avalanche danger elevated. The most dangerous slopes will be those onto which the southerly winds drift snow. Expect some drifting around terrain features like gully walls or behind rock outcrops. Stay off very steep slopes if you see cracks forming in the snow or feel hard, heavy layers under your feet. Clearing skies Tuesday and a sunny Wednesday will drive a shed cycle of loose avalanches.
