Plan on starting and ending your day early as surfaces warm and break down throughout the day. You can easily trigger wet avalanches on steep, sunny slopes, especially below rocky features where melting is more intense. These might be smaller Loose Wet avalanches or a more destructive Wet Slab that will be hard to escape. If you find yourself sinking into wet, unsupportable snow, it's time to bail out or seek shadier aspects. Increased clouds and wind may help keep higher elevation surfaces cooler, so monitor the wetting as you travel.
In addition, there is still a looming chance to trigger a large dry slab avalanche near and above treeline, on north-facing slopes.
