Highlights

Use normal caution if headed into the mountains today. Avalanches are unlikely, but there could be some deeper areas of wind drifted snow in the northern Eddy's and near Ash Creek Butte, where the most snow fell on Friday night. There's a fresh coat of rime ice on the upper mountain, so watch out for ice fall if climbing high on Mt Shasta.
