South Okanagan, Shuswap, North Okanagan.
Expect snow conditions to change as you shift aspect and elevation.
Watch for pockets of wind loading near ridgelines, or sunshine softening the snow surface.
No new avalanches have been reported recently. With a bit of fresh snow expected overnight, isolated pockets of small wind slab may exist near ridgelines.
Up to 10 cm of settling snow may exist above 1600 m. At high elevations, this may remain dry and sits on a supportive crust from early April, making for dust on crust riding conditions. At lower elevations recent snow is moist. Below the crust, the snowpack is isothermal to ground.
