All melt no freeze... and natural avalanche activity is expected to continue.
Widespread large loose wet and slab avalanche activity is occurring in the region. The main pulse of activity has subsided yet consider anything that has not slid to be highly suspect.
Post avalanche observations to the MIN.
Many slopes at all elevations are isothermal and loosing cohesion particularly solar aspects and shallower snowpack zones. Depth hoar and basal facets at the base of the snowpack still exist until the warmth can penetrate fully.
The next three days will remain sunny, very warm temperatures, no overnight freeze, and 3800 metres freezing level.
