Glacier.
Early season snow is accumulating in the alpine. Take avalanches in to account when venturing in to the mountains, and carry appropriate equipment. Glaciers have been changing dramatically, new snow may be hiding crevasses in places where this hasn't been a concern in the past.
Isolated, small, loose avalanches have been observed in the alpine.
Snow depth at Treeline ranges from 5-15cm, while depths increase to 25-30cm in the high Alpine...not enough snow to go sliding on yet!
