Conditions are generally safe, making it a good time to explore avalanche terrain. However, it's important to stay alert and make good travel decisions.
A few very small loose dry sluffs were reported by the field team last Wednesday in steep shady terrain. No significant avalanches have been reported since last weekend.

5 to 10 cm of wind affected snow sits on a supportive crust. At upper elevations, deeper deposits of wind-loaded snow may exist, up to 30 cm deep.
The remainder of the snowpack is dry, with no current layers of concern.
The total alpine snowpack depth around White Pass is around 180 cm deep.
