Gliding avalanches can also be released in the morning. Slight increase in avalanche danger as a consequence of warming during the day.
In particular on cut and grassy slopes more small and medium-sized gliding avalanches are possible, in particular above approximately 1600 m. Caution is to be exercised in areas with glide cracks. The weather conditions will cause a slight rise in the danger of moist avalanches as the day progresses. Especially above approximately 2200 m: Weak layers in the old snowpack can still be released in some place by winter sport participants. In the morning, There is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface.
Towards its surface, the snowpack is hard and its surface has a melt-freeze crust that is strong in many cases. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise from early morning to softening of the snowpack especially on sunny slopes, in the event of an overcast night in particular. Intermediate and high altitudes: Weak layers exist in the snowpack especially on west, north and northeast facing slopes. In particular in the vicinity of peaks snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind.
