Snowpack Structure

The weather conditions as the day progresses will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack in particular on sunny slopes, in particular at low and intermediate altitudes. Weak layers exist in the snowpack in particular on shady slopes.

Tendency

The weather will be cloudy.

Avalanche Activity

Moderate avalanche danger will prevail.

As the day progresses the likelihood of moist small and medium sized avalanches being released will increase gradually in particular on steep sunny slopes. Individual gliding avalanches can also occur. The wind slabs are in isolated cases prone to triggering. Avalanches can be released, mostly by large loads. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. Dangerous points in areas near the ridges, at the base of the rock walls, also due to the possibility of debris falling from above.
