Highlights
The avalanche danger is LOW on all aspects and elevations and Normal Caution is advised. Remember that risk is inherent in mountain travel - even a small avalanche in steep radical terrain can have significant consequences. Slide for life conditions exist in some of the alpine terrain across the range. If your objective is big mountainous terrain, crampons, whippets, and/or an ice axe would be useful tools to have in the pack today.

Snow and Weather
Skies are clear. Mountain temps are in the mid to upper 20s. The northwest winds picked up overnight for a few hours with gusts to 45 along the Ogden skyline. Currently, winds are blowing 10-15mph with gusts to 20.
Snow surface conditions host myriad slick sun, wind, and stripped-to-bare rime crusts with patches of soft settled powder in the sheltered northerly terrain. Slide-for-life conditions exist on some slopes.
The next storm impacts the area Saturday night into Sunday.
