LO for 14/12 Redistribution of existing soft snow onto sheltered E and S aspects above 900m. Low hazard.

Forecast Snow Stability: Some redistribution of the existing soft snow will take place with fresh accumulations forming on sheltered East and South aspects during Wednesday. Accumulations are not expected to be extensive. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: It will be cold and dry. Moderate North-Easterly winds will back to the North-West during the period Observed Weather Influences: There has been a light dusting of snow at all levels with a moderate North-Easterly wind. ObservedSnowStability: Shallow deposits of unstable snow are present in sheltered locations. Greatest accumulations are on sheltered South and West aspects above 900m, although accumulations are not widespread. The avalanche hazard is Low.
