Forecast Weather Influences: There will be a period of rain overnight followed by drizzle during Tuesday. Freezing level will remain above the summits. Winds will be light to moderate Southerly over the summits. Observed Weather Influences: There was a very light dusting of snow overnight but this slowly thawed during today. The freezing level rose above the summits at around 6am this morning. Rain at all levels this afternoon. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is thawing and consolidating at all levels. Snowpack stability is generally good. The avalanche hazard is Low.
