Forecast Snow Stability: During the day some new windslab will be deposited in wind sheltered areas, mainly on East to South aspects above 950 metres. Accumulations gaining depth are not expected to be extensive. The old snowpack will be generally stable, and above around 900 metres its surface will start to refreeze and become firm. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Winds will be light generally West-South-Westerly overnight, strengthening and veering North-Westerly during the morning. Overnight the freezing level will be above all summits though gradually lowering; just before dawn it will drop to around 1000 metres. It is expected to be dry overnight, then some light showers through the day falling as snow above round 900 metres. Observed Weather Influences: It was a mild day, with the freezing level above all summits. There were some light showers falling as rain at all levels. Winds were strong South-South-Westerly. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining patchy snowpack continues to slowly thaw in the mild conditions, and is generally stable on all aspects and at all levels. Some residual cornices are present above North to East aspects. The avalanche hazard is Low.
