The cold fresh snow of last week and in particular the sometimes deep wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in particular on wind-protected shady slopes above approximately 2400 m.

The snowpack remains weakly bonded in the north. Small to medium-sized avalanches are possible in particular on steep north, northeast and northwest facing slopes.
