When the sun comes out, the likelihood of natural and human triggered avalanches will increase.
No new avalanches observed the past few days.
10-20 new storm snow sits on top of a melt-freeze crust and a slowly refreezing snowpack below that. The January drought layer lies 50 –130 cm deep, with snow depths at treeline averaging 130–200 cm.
