Avalanche danger low. Only in some places spontaneous glidingsnow and wet loose snow avalanches coming from extremly steep slops are possible. Avoid areas below open gliding cracks. Risk of injuries is more likely than risks of falling or being buried.

Snowpack Structure

In general the snow amount is below the average. Southern slopes and exposed areas are predominatels bare. the thin ssnow cover is settled on the surface. otherwhere it is wet. In places in northern and eastern exposed high-altitudes areas thin layers of Driftsnow which is weakened due to equilibrium metamorphosis.

Weather Forecast

In the northeastern regions Friday night will be cloudy. During the day the mountain the weather is divergent. North of the Alpenhauptkamm a sunny day with only a few clouds in medium heights but it stays dry. Further south especially in the foothills the most time of the day is cloudy. The summits ar foggy the visibility is very poor. In the morning little snowfall is possible but in the afternoon precipitation stops and is cleares up. Winds are moderate in expose areas winds are brisk coming from south. Temperatures in 2.000 m are around -4 degrees, in 1.500 m around -1 degrees. In norther regions it will be milder.
