Avalanche Activity

A lot of new snow to intermediate altitudes.

From early morning danger level 2 (moderate) will be reached at intermediate and high altitudes. The new snow can be released by a single winter sport participant. The older wind slabs are mostly small and can only be released in isolated cases. The avalanche prone locations are covered with new snow and are difficult to recognise.

Snowpack Structure

A lot of snow will fall until midday in all regions. The new snow will be deposited on a quite favourable old snowpack.
