Avalanche Summary

A few inches of new snow won't change the danger here on Sunday. You might still trigger a slide where you find rounded pillows of firm snow along gullies and below cornices. These pillows are at upper elevations on slopes that face a northerly or east direction. Look for safer riding on low-angle slopes or those sheltered from the wind.

A potent winter storm is moving toward Colorado. Look for the danger to increase on Monday and continue to rise throughout the coming week.
