Highlights

Northerly winds have formed pockets of new soft slab up to 18 inches in depth at the upper elevations and isolated pockets 6 to 12 inches in depth at the mid and lower elevations. These slabs and loose snow sluffs could be triggered today in steep wind loaded starting zones, in cliff areas and on steep slopes. Use caution and beware of terrain traps and the potential to be swept over cliffbands.
