Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Several days of strong west to west-northwest winds have created slabs up to two feet in depth on leeward aspects. These slabs could be human triggered on steep wind loaded aspects and have the potential to step down to a weak layer of faceted snow at the base of the snowpack.
