Highlights

During the past couple days new snow and strong Southwesterly winds have formed soft slabs to a foot in depth in avalanche terrain at mid and upper elevations. These slabs lie upon crusts and weak, faceted snow and have been easily triggered by backcountry travellers in wind loaded avalanche starting zones and cliff areas.
