Avalanche Summary

Recent snowfall was not enough to increase avalanche danger, but gusty winds were strong enough to drift any available snow into stiff pockets above the treeline. If you were to trigger a small slide, it would be in an area of freshly drifted snow on a steep slope at upper elevations. Most slopes are safe from avalanches due to a shallow and weak snowpack.
