Avalanche Summary

With warm temperatures and no overnight freeze, dangerous avalanche conditions exist on Sunday and Monday. Get into and out of the mountains early before the snowpack loses cohesion. We have seen a few very large natural wet slab avalanches over the last few days. These avalanches are difficult to predict. Avoid steep above treeline areas after 11:00AM. Stay out of runout zones below big north and northeast-facing slopes. Some of these avalanches may run into the below treeline elevation band.
