Avalanche Summary

Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. If you were to trigger a small avalanche, it would be on a drifted slope where you find hard snow resting on top of softer, older snow below. These slopes will face north through northeast to east at upper elevations. Avoid stiff, hollow surfaces, especially on slopes steeper than 35 degrees.
