Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is LOW this morning and will increase to MODERATE as temperatures rise. The existing snowpack is comprised of a basel layer of weak faceted snow. As temperatures warm the potential to trigger slab avalanches and loose wet slides on steep wind loaded slopes will increase. It may be possible to trigger slabs to the ground on very steep slopes during the heat of the day.
