The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on west to north to southeast facing wind-loaded slopes above approximately 2600 m.
The fresh and somewhat older wind slabs are in some cases prone to triggering. They can be released by a single winter sport participant. This applies in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas. The wind slabs are clearly recognisable to the trained eye.
2 to 5 cm of snow will fall above approximately 1300 m. Hardly any snow is lying. The snowpack will be generally subject to considerable local variations.
The avalanche danger will persist.
