Forecast Snow Stability: The remaining patchy snow will be firm, well bonded and stable throughout. Greatest areas will be encountered on the very highest mountains above 1000 metres. Deepest accumulations will be found in high North and East facing corries. Small patches below 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: No precipitation has been forecast. Fresh North-Westerly winds, easing overnight as they back to light Southerly. Increasing again during the day to become fresh South-South-Westerly. 600 metre freezing level overnight, climbing fairly rapidly over the summits during the day but just maintaining negative air temperatures at summit level. Observed Weather Influences: A dry but cloudy day with fresh to strong South-South-Westerly winds. Freezing level just over the summits at midday. ObservedSnowStability: Well bonded, stable snow throughout. Patchy cover with deepest amounts present in North to East facing corries. Largest areas of cover are to be found on the higher mountains with only small areas below 900 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
