Avalanche Activity

The weather conditions gave rise to softening of the snowpack.

In all aspects large and, in isolated cases, very large moist and wet avalanches are possible. Gliding avalanches can also occur at any time. Single winter sport participants can release avalanches as before.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack remains wet all the way through over a wide area.

Tendency

The weather will be cloudy over a wide area. Light precipitation. As a consequence of falling temperatures, the natural avalanche activity will gradually decrease.
