Avalanche Summary

An Avalanche Warning is in effect for the Grand and Battlement Mesa's. Heavy snow and strong winds are creating very dangerous avalanche conditions. Natural and human-triggered avalanches are very likely. Avalanches can break wide across terrain features, run long distances, and break on small slope cuts above trails and in the trees. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended Tuesday evening through Friday morning.
