Avalanche Summary

Expect dangerous avalanche conditions on Sunday. Heavy snowfall created fresh slabs that you can easily trigger on most steep slopes. Most avalanches will be small, but avalanches could grow large enough to bury or kill you in some wind-drifted areas at higher elevations. Some could step down into deeper weak layers.

Reduce the threat of smaller avalanches by steering clear of continuously steep, open slopes with lots of vertical relief, and steering clear of gullies and ravines. Low-angle slopes less than about 30 degrees offer the safest riding options.
