Avalanche Summary

Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. Watch out for wet avalanches on steep slopes in the afternoon. Most of these will be small, but they can still knock you over and drag you down a slope. The easiest way to reduce your chances of triggering a wet avalanche on Thursday is to start and end your day early, or simply avoid steep terrain when you notice your feet, skis, or machine sinking deep into wet snow.
