Avalanche Summary
Most slopes are safe, but even a small slide can have serious consequences above cliffs and rocks in extreme terrain. Pay attention to snow conditions before dropping in. Starting and ending your day early will reduce your chances of any wet snow avalanches. Avoid lingering pockets of firm wind-drifted snow and look for heavy, wet snow lower in elevation.
