Avalanche Summary

New snow falling on a weak base means you can trigger small, soft avalanches on some steep slopes once around 6 to 8 inches of new snow accumulates. Northerly and easterly-facing slopes were covered in weak sugary snow prior to the storm, and these are where you can expect the new snow to slide. Choose southerly terrain where you find hard crusts below the storm snow to enjoy the powder.
