Avalanche Summary

Most slopes are safe from avalanches, even with a few more inches of snow. Wind-loaded north to northeast-facing slopes below ridges high in the alpine are the few places you could trigger a small avalanche. Look for a denser layer of snow, one to two feet deep, tucked under small cornices or wind-drifted terrain features as places to avoid.

Join the Friends of CAIC on Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center for the 18th annual CAIC Benefit Bash - the season's biggest fundraiser for avalanche safety. Tickets are available here <https://breckcreate.org/events/caic-benefit-bash>
