Avalanche Summary
Avalanche conditions are generally safe. Strong westerly winds and a dusting of fresh snow will not change the danger, but any loose snow will be drifted onto leeward slopes. If you were to trigger a small avalanche, it would be in a stiff area of drifted snow sitting over weaker snow. This setup is isolated to steep alpine slopes and should be easy to spot. Avoid smooth and rounded drifts of snow on steep slopes in the alpine.
