Avalanche Summary

Most slopes are safe from avalanches. Cooler temperatures and increased cloud cover will reduce the risk of wet avalanches. Long, sustained, steep north-facing slopes are the few places you could trigger a more concerning loose snow avalanche in weak, cohesionless facets. By managing these slopes, or simply avoiding them, you will further reduce your risk.
